The Conference Dinner will be held in The Hall at Venue Cymru on Wednesday 8 July from 19:30. It will be proceeded by a networking session in the Orne Suite, where a cash bar will be available from 18:30 for delegates to enjoy a pre-dinner drink.

This year the presentation of the 2015 RAS Awards will be a held during the conference dinner. The awards ceremony will also include the announcement of the NAM 2015 poster prizes so we particularly encourage students to come along to join in the celebrations and perhaps to receive a prize!

Prices depend on your registration type. To reserve a place, please select the conference dinner as part of the registration process. Delegates can also add the dinner to an existing registration, as long as places are still available.

 

Menu

All the menus at Venue Cymru are made using locally sourced seasonal produce wherever possible. Vegetarian and other special dietary requirements are always catered for and you will be able to request this on the registration form.

Starter

Smoked salmon and shrimp mousse with caper, gherkin and herb dressing

Main course

Pan fried chicken breast with porcini mushroom mousse, with thyme infused fondant potato and Madeira reduction. Served with root vegetables, dauphinoise potatoes, seasonal vegetables puree and fine beans.

Dessert

Baileys and mint cheesecake with white chocolate sails (also suitable for vegetarians) 

Cheese course

Stilton, mature cheddar, brie, chutney, celery salt butter and biscuits

Drinks

Tea & coffee will be served at the end of the meal.

Wine will be served from the beginning of the meal, with the included quantity per table tbc. A cash bar will also be available.
