MIST
Open Session on Magnetospheric, Ionospheric and Solar-Terrestrial physics
The UK's MIST (Magnetospheric, Ionospheric and Solar-Terrestrial) community investigates physical processes within the Sun-Earth system and at other planets. This includes study of the solar wind and planetary magnetospheres, ionospheres, thermospheres & mesospheres, and the coupling between these regions. A wide range of techniques is used for the study of these environments, including in situ & remote sensing instrumentation, modelling and theory, and research covers both the understanding of the basic physical processes which govern these interactions and the effects of these processes on human life and technology (space weather). We welcome contributions detailing the latest results from all areas of science covered by MIST.
