An eMERLIN commissioning observation of DG Tau has been reduced by the JBCA staff. This is the longest wavelength detection made so far of large dust (pebbles) growing in the proto-planetary disc of a young star. Early analysis indicates a ring of pebbles distributed around a Jupiter-like orbit - key evidence for the prompt aggregation needed on the path towards forming planetary cores.
