Solar oscillations around and above the acoustic cut-off frequency have a complicated relationship with surface magnetic activity, with ``haloes'' of acoustic power surrounding magnetic elements and non-monotonic shifts in mode parameters as a function of magnetic activity index. We investigate the relationship between the frequencies of these oscillations, as measured by ring-diagram analysis of HMI data, and the corresponding acoustic power maps, with particular attention to the large active region 12192 in October 2014.
