Session title
Comets: Rosetta results and related science
Description
The ESA Rosetta mission successfully landed the Philae probe on comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko in November 2014, and remains in orbit around the comet, returning amazing data from its suite of instruments and changing our understanding of these bodies. In this session we welcome talks on results from the mission, and/or from modelling or observations of the comet that support Rosetta. Submissions on related topics are also invited, such as observations of other comets or even other minor body populations, in order to look at the Rosetta findings in the wider context of solar system formation and evolution.
